He Makes People Beautiful.

Because he already is.

Drop. Dead. Gorgeous.

At 35 years, he is the newest Artistic Director of Make-up at Lancome. A New Zealander, then a New Yorker and finally a Parisian, this man is transforming make-up into art.
And imagine, it's Lancome. Not MAC. Not Max Factor. Lancome.
Would you ever associate that brand with a new age punk phenomenon? Or perhaps with flashes of colour amidst clear skin? Now you can. Because Lancome has turned their multi-billion (or quote : squillion) dollar company around towards the destination of expression.

Your Lancome make-up isn't going to fade on your face anymore. Neither is it going to fill all the nooks and crannies and perhaps whiten everything in the process so you look like a porcelain doll. Where make-up used to hide, it now creates. Where make-up used to perfect, it imperfects beautifully. Where make-up used to disappear, it now pops.

In your face.

Just like Aaron De Mey.

If you can't already tell, he thinks Kurt Cobain is god. (The hair people, the hair.)

When asked about what he thinks of make-up, he took the words right out of my mouth.
Expressive. Individualistic. Unconvential. Fresh. A little bit rock n' roll.
Cheers.
